Timothy Hay is exclusively harvested during the First Cut at the "Mid-Bud" stage, ensuring an optimal balance of essential nutrients. Unlike late-stage harvests, this product is seed-free and low in lignin, providing a softer texture that is highly digestible. This allows pets to maximize nutrient absorption while supporting overall metabolic health.

• High fiber content stimulates intestinal motility, preventing Gastrointestinal (GI) Stasis and ensuring the production of healthy cecotropes.
• The natural abrasive texture of the fibers promotes essential tooth wear, preventing dental overgrowth and related complications.

For:

• Adult small herbivores (Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, and Prairie Dogs).
• Suitable for pets aged 4–6 months and older.

Note: 

For juvenile pets (under 4–6 months), Alfalfa Hay is recommended to provide the higher calcium and protein required for growth. Transition to Timothy Hay once the pet reaches adulthood.
